My name is Laurel Loomer. I embarked on my dental hygiene journey at Cabrillo College, where I earned my A.S. degree in 1996. A decade later, in 2006, I furthered my education at the University of the Pacific, earning a specialized certificate that equipped me to care for the special needs population.

I am  a distinguished professional, holding dual licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP). The RDHAP certification uniquely qualifies me to serve communities that often lack access to adequate dental care, such as homebound individuals and skilled nursing and intermediate care facility residents.

As an independent mobile provider, l bring my dental equipment directly to my patients’ homes, delivering high-quality dental hygiene services to those who face challenges visiting traditional dental offices. I have been a steadfast provider of dental hygiene care since 1996 and have dedicated myself to serving the special needs population since early 2007.

With 28 years of extensive experience in dental hygiene and 17 years of specialized practice in nursing homes, I have  not only amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise but have also proven my competence and reliability, making me an invaluable asset in my field.
When I need to refer patients for other dental services, I have chosen to entrust their care to an experienced and caring dentist, Dr. Amy Fanhua Meng. This choice reflects my trust and confidence in Dr. Meng’s abilities.
